Transformers: Car Robot

The first wave of Transformers were released on the 16th of March, 2000 as scheduled.   After seeing the Japanese TV commercials and advertisements in various magazines, I had to check them out for myself.  My plan was to check them out at the toy store just to see if they were worth the money.  Well before I knew it I had the entire first wave of toys in my basket for checkout.

When I returned to the house I just couldn't wait to assemble/disassemble Super Fire Convoy.   Now this is an impressive toy!  My experience with Transformers is extremely limited but I must say that TAKARA has done it again!
